Im 17 years old and a student at Linganore High School. I’m a local country music artist and a member of F.A.M.E, Frederick Acoustic Music Enterprise. I plan to go to WVU to study Music Business and my big dream is to make it in the country music industry. I perform originals and cover songs. Prospect Pantry gave me my first big opportunity and they have now become my performance “home stage”.

 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have a huge family. My parents are divorced which means I have a lot of siblings. I have 5 siblings. My family is very supportive with my music career. I blessed to have such a big and supportive family.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I’ve worked at several local restaurants such as the Derby and TJ’s Road house, which is not in business anymore.My main career focus right now is my music. I spend several days writing music and practicing my vocals. I love to perform in my small town. I plan to get a job during my senior year of high school but haven’t found one yet.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’ve lived in the community since I was 4 years old. Before then I’ve lived in Charles Town West Virginia

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
The most interesting person I’ve met in the community is the Williams Family. They own JBar W Ranch, and Widespread Country Market. They host rodeos and a lot of high school students go. They have supported my music career so much and have been there for me through struggles in my life. They are amazing people and work so hard to make JBar a friendly place for the community to get together.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Advice I would give to people is to strive to be the best you can be and don’t let others try to take you down.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Something I have on my bucket list is to be able to perform at Lainey Wilson’s Bellbottom Bar

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite thing about our community is everyone gets involved to help out other business and the parade. We all work together to make our community so great.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5 to 10 years I hope to be playing on big stages and on the road touring

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I’ve seen over 25 musical artists perform in concerts

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Pigeon Fordge Tennessee

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Favorite holiday is Easter because I was born on Easter. Favorite month is April because my I was born in April and favorite single day on the calendar is the 8th.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
I would rate a 10 out of 10 is a good written song.

Q: What person, event or experience has made the greatest impact or inspiration in your life?
A person that has made a great impact on my life is Wynonna Judd. After seeing her in concert she inspired my writing in music and expand my vocal capabilities. She’s inspired me to always challenge myself.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to have lunch with Lainey Wilson. I would meet anywhere to have lunch with her. I think she would give me such great advice but we would also have a blast because she has a spunky personality like me. I love bellbottoms just as much as she does!
