My name is McKenzie Mollica and I attend Oakdale High School.
I am from a family of 7, and I have 4 siblings. I have one brother and three sisters, and the youngest are identical twin girls.
My parents recently started their own company, Dockside Window and Door.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to finish my studies at FCC. I will be graduating from there with my Associates in Business Administration in December 2024. Then, I plan to transfer to a 4-year in January 2025.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I love The Derby and Five West Cafe!
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would choose to travel to Fiji. I did a project on Fiji for a class, and I just thought it had beautiful beaches, and amazing views.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is Purple Heart and my favorite TV shows are Greys Anatomy, Too Hot Too Handle, and SWAT.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
Be who you want to be not what you think other people or a college wants you to be! It’s not always about being in the most clubs or doing the most, sometimes it’s about just showing the world what you have to offer. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in trying to be the best, when in reality nobody remembers that.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
I would probably choose SWAT because I find the show to be very funny. I’m not sure I’d actually live being in the field though, I’d probably stick to helping behind solve the crime back at HQ.
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
Hands down, Tate McRae. I’d probably have lunch at Prospect pantry or the derby, but I’d choose her because she is just a super fun and cool person, and she is definitely my favorite artist at the moment!
What is your favorite thing about our community?
I love that it’s just that! A community. It has the small town feeling and you’re most likely always going to run into someone you know!
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5-10 years, I hope to obtain my masters, continue competing in the Miss America Organization, and hopefully have a manager position somewhere or maybe even own my own business.
What is something on your bucket list?
I want to visit all 50 states!
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
At the moment…Tate McRae!
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is may because that is when the school year is truly winding down, and usually the flowers are looking beautiful! My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving since I get to see most of my family. My favorite day is August 2nd since that’s my birthday, and is usually the one day where I can actually get out of Cleaning!

Who inspires you to be better?
My dad is my biggest inspiration, especially in my work and school life!
