I’m a lover of life, modern renaissance woman who chooses daily to have a servant’s heart starting within my own home and then in the community.

The family is my “why”. My husband for now 14 years is a PhD in Information Science. We are a blended family with a lot of love. We have 3 grown children, and 2 at home with us now. Our oldest son just got married!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Currently work as the Director of Development for a Wealth Management company in Frederick.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I moved from my hometown Augusta, Georgia in 2011 and briefly lived in Walkersville, MD. We moved to Columbia, MD. For 6 years and built our forever home in Frederick in 2018.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
That’s a tough one, I am interested in everyone I meet. I really enjoy meeting new people!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Find out who you are, and do it on purpose. – Dolly Parton

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I would like to tour Japan!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The small town feel of New Market.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Coaching Cheer, leading young women and who knows. Lol

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I have been a mother longer than anything else.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
The breathtaking mountains in between Colorado and Wyoming.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
May is my month Christmas is my holiday and March 12 is the single best calendar day.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
My first cup of coffee for the day and prayer time.

Q: What person, event or experience has made the greatest impact or inspiration in your life?
The women in my family have inspired me to be fearless, courageous, loving, and forgiving!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
This is a tough question but I would love to take my childhood best friend to any of the downtown restaurants!
