My name is Rachelle and I live in the Lake Linganore part of New Market, MD with my husband and 3 kids. I am a Maryland girl and grew up in Montgomery County until we moved here in 2018. Summer is my absolute favorite season and I am a beach/water girl and am so glad my kiddos are too. We love going to the lake and pools here as well as traveling to other beaches! I am committed to living a healthy life both physically and mentally and surrounding myself with amazing and inspiring people. I attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania after a little time at Montgomery College where I earned my B.S. in English/American Sign Language Interpreting. After graduating and working as an interpreter I attended Towson University at the USG campus and earning my M.A.T in Special Education with a focus on Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I taught in both MCPS and FCPS working in a variety of settings from lower and mid elementary, pre-k, and infants and toddlers. In January of 2020 I began my personal health and wellness journey supported by a coach and it completely changed my life. Now I do the same for others by providing a comprehensive approach to wellness. I love interacting with neighbors in the New Market community and like-minded members of the community, as well as organizations such as the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and Women Business Network of Frederick.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

Q: What person, event or experience has made the greatest impact or inspiration in your life?
There was a teacher in my high school, Mr. Alton, who had no direct reason to work with me. I was not in any of his classes but I had some struggles and he found me and on his own took me under his wing. He literally never gave up on me, stopped believing in me, and supported me until I walked across the stage at graduation. I will never ever forget him and the belief he lent me until I found it for myself. Now I get to pay that forward and offer the same to my community and clients.
Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
