We are both native Virginians who moved to Maryland after graduating from Christopher Newport University. We ended up in New Market when our youngest was getting ready to go to kindergarten. We also are the home of the TooZ Family Christmas display with homemade electrical and mechanical Christmas props.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
We have 2 children at NMES and have a dog named Hope.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Our custom nightlight covers started as something fun we were doing for our kids and family. At some point we decided to see if others would be interested in buying some, and Merry and Bright was born. We love the interactions with customers and all the stories, happy and sad, that go with each custom nightlight.

Pastor Scott from New Market Methodist. A former electrician who found a new calling and is amazing in the community.

Stay humble and help others whenever you can.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Going to Australia.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
A small town feel without being in the middle of nowhere.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Hopefully right here in New Market and having more time to volunteer in the community.

We have no idea what we are doing in life, we are just faking it.

Hawaii – Jason’s vote and New York – Michelle’s vote

December. Christmas. And December 24th. We might have a Christmas problem……

Koziar’s Christmas Village in PA. You must make the pilgrimage there at least once.
